Pupil Premium 2016/17

 

 

Grove school has been allocated £194625 as a Pupil Premium Grant for the 2016/17 year.

We intend to use the extra funding to:-

  • Improve attainment and progress
  • Improve engagement
  • Improve attendance
  • Improve self-esteem

For all our students by providing additional courses, interventions and staff costs for student support and also by providing additional financial support for those students who may otherwise be disadvantaged in their education.

Providing a counselling service

Investing in the wellbeing of our students to ensure that they have all the support that we can offer them.  This will help them to perform better in school.

Providing pastoral support from Yr 7 -11

 

3 appointed pastoral support staff will provide additional support and intervention to improve attendance and outcomes for disadvantaged students and to narrow the gap with non-disadvantaged students
